Description:
Apartment Community Porter/Groundskeeper/Janitor – Growing national Property Management Company is currently seeking a dependable detail-oriented porter.
Responsible for ensuring that the community grounds are visually appealing in order to support the operational standards of the community.
Managed by the Community Director or Service Team manager and may reports directly to the Service Manager.
Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community by ensuring that grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free of debris, trash, graffiti and other items which affect the appearance of the community.

Requirements for the position:
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs.on a regular basis.
Assist in the development and maintenance of safe working conditions.
Maintain a neat, orderly and safe workshop and storage areas.
Must have the knowledge and ability to perform the following duties:
Janitorial
Dispose of litter and debris whenever encountered.
Other duties as outlined by the property manager or property supervisor.
Comply with OSHA regulations
Comply with all state and federal regulations relating to waste disposal, hazardous chemical labeling and handling, etc.
Maintain lawn areas by edging borders
Picking up trash and litter around the property
Trashing out vacant apartment units
spreading ground cover
removing leaves, and removing snow as necessary.
Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears or pruning saws.
Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are organized and in proper working order, request replacements as necessary, and assist in stocking the inventory.
Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
